Jim Murphy Hut

The Jim Murphy hut sits atop the first ridge on the property and has sweeping views to the north and Mt Coree. It was purchased from the late Canberra Wine Merchant, Jim Murphy, who constructed it many years ago from an enlarged shipping container, using 100 year old timbers and fittings. He used it for many years as as a wine tasting venue at his Market Cellars venue in Kingston. The hut was transported using great skill on the back of a large truck and renovated from there. It has a double bed, pot-bellied stove and kitchen area. The hut is perfect for weekend camping.

"There are no new fundamentals. You've got to be a little suspicious of someone who says, "I've got a new fundamental." That's like someone inviting you to tour a factory where they are manufacturing antiques"
Jim Rohn, US Business Philosopher
